A 44-year-old man came to the police to confess to the murder of a young woman. He said she was his neighbour and he had long imagined what it would be like to have sex with her. One day he lost control, kidnapped her and raped her. Then he slit her throat and disemboweled her.

When the neighbors found out what he’d done, they wanted to lynch him. But the angry mob failed to break into the police station, so they at least burned down his house.
As it turned out, the victim is only 14 years old (some sources say 12 years old) Kaylane Ferreira Frazão. Her killer has been identified as Alcino Vilarim de Oliveira.
