XOCHITEPEC, MEXICO – MAY 10, 2019 A 22-year-old student at the Autonomous University of Morelos, Leticia Valladares Castañeda, arranged a meeting at a bar with an 18-year-old athlete and high school student with whom she had a crush. She met the boy at school in the gym because it was shared for both schools. When he came to the bar, to her surprise, he was not alone, but had two other underage friends with him. Both were 17 years old.

All four were drinking alcohol at the table and having a good time. When they were sufficiently drunk, the boys proposed to Leticia to have foursome gang sex. This Leticia rejected with contempt.
After that, everyone continued their friendly conversation. During that evening, Leticia sent messages to her friend and informed her about everything that happened during that evening. When the evening was over, the boys offered her a ride home. She agreed. But instead of going home, they took her to a deserted road, where they forced her to undress. They all brutally raped her and tortured her by shoving objects, like a wine bottle, into her vagina. They beat her during sex. Finally, they break her head open with bottles, killing her. They left her body naked in a very sexual position.
With the help of a friend, whom Leticia had been writing to all evening, the police got to the perpetrators. In the house of one 17-year-old youth, they found evidence in the form of clothes and underwear, which he took away as a souvenir.
