BOCA DO ACRE, AMAZONAS, BRAZIL – JANUARY 15, 2025 Francisco Nascimento went hunting with his 14-year-old son near the town of Boca do Acre. But they trespassed on private land and were caught by the owner. They started arguing with each other, whereupon the landowner pulled out his gun and killed Francisco with several shots. All in front of his 14-year-old son.

According to his son’s testimony, the landlord also attacked him, but he managed to escape. He then called other members of his family and the police to the scene. In the meantime, the assailant ran away and has not been traced to date.
