Two kidnapped women found executed

GAVIÃO, BAHIA, BRAZIL – MAY 7, 2024 Bruna Gonçalves Simões and Jozilma Lima dos Santos were kidnapped from their homes in Conceição do Coité. Some time later, they were found 74 km from the abduction site near the village of Gavião, both dead. Their injuries suggest that they were executed by a rifle shot to the head at close range. Their cranial cavity was completely open and their brains popped out.
